The accomodation at La Concha The accomodation on offer at La Concha are both apartments and a hotel on the first line of the beach. The apartments are literally a road widths across from the sea and are luxury with 3/4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and air-conditioned in all rooms. These are perfect for larger groups of up to 6 in one of the apartments and 8 in the 4 bedroom one. The Hotel has fantastic sea views and breakfast is included at nearby El Cesar restaurant. Perfect for smaller groups. For more information on both check the "accomodation" section.
Beach The beach of La Concha is one of the best in the province, seen by the huge influx of Castellon and Benicassim people at weekends despite their towns having beaches. Golden sands and slow gradient waters. Theres even a cove which you can dive off of. Restaurants There are many restaurants surrounding the La Concha beach. The best is El Cesar restaurant just off the main beach taking the road around the rocks on the left side. It is located on the second floor and offers fantastic views to match the fantastic food and is english speaking. Right next to Oropesa beach is Mendiola, an honest selection of traditional summer resort food.
Bars The main bars are the Irish Bar, Hollywood and El Cesar Bar area and terrace. El Cesar is fully English speaking. Clubs There is one small club in Oropesa, named Poyema. Were not understating the size either but without travelling to Marina Dor or the 7000+ capacity Piramide in Cabanes its the only one in the La Concha area. Oropesa Old Town Across the traintracks and 10 minutes walking distance from La Concha beach is the Oropesa old town. It is worth spending a day here to visit the musuems, bull ring and the traditional spanish town life. Theres plenty of coffee bars to have a coffee... or a beer. |
